3 Ways to Renew Your Positivity & Inspiration for Greater Fulfillment

Are you having trouble getting inspired? Are you finding yourself focusing on the negative all the time? Are you looking for ways to renew your positivity and inspiration so you can feel more fulfilled?

Many of us remember a carefree childhood filled with hopes and dreams. We could do anything we wanted and we believed we could accomplish anything. Reality hadn't hit yet.

RealityIsn't that what we've been led to believe? That reality is different from everything we ever want to pursue?

The definition of reality is this (according to the Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary): the quality or state of being real; a real event, entity, or state of affairs; something that is neither derivative nor dependent but exists necessarily.

Let me ask this: when did we start to believe that dreams and goals cannot become reality?

Perhaps that's when negativity started to take over. Perhaps it's when we started to believe that our dreams and goals were nothing more than pipe dreams. But who told us that? Who discouraged us? And why did we let that discouragement stop us from pursuing the dream?

We have a choice. We can continue on down the path we've been going, living an unhappy or mediocre life believing that nothing good ever comes from our pursuits. Or we can push aside all of the negativity, all of the discouragement, all of the fears, and start pursuing our dreams and goals right now.

Whether we want to believe it or not, we have the ability to choose which path we want. The path of pursuit isn't always the easiest path to take. And sometimes we just need help getting there and staying motivated to see it through.

So, let's talk about three ways we can renew our positivity and inspiration so we can start pursuing our dreams and experiencing greater fulfillment.

1. Change Your Habits

Habits will make or break our success when we pursue our goals. Are we using up all of our free time on activities that won't help us get to where we want to go? Are we eating foods that make us feel sluggish rather than energized? Are we eating for comfort rather than fuel? Are we engaging in activities that make us feel guilty or negative? How are we starting the day?

2. Change Your Thoughts

Our thoughts become our reality. If we're focusing on obstacles or negativity, we're going to see more obstacles and experience more negativity. But if we're focusing on our blessings and the things we're thankful for, we're going to see our own worlds in a whole new light.

How we start the day sets the stage for our thoughts. If you want to start seeing dramatic changes in your life, start each day by writing down all of the things you're thankful for. This gets us focusing on positive things rather than the negative ones.

3. Change Your Life

Changing our habits and thoughts is just the starting point. While they work together to change our lives, there's still more we can do. What choices are we making? Are we neglecting our dreams and goals? What are the desires of our hearts? Are we doing work that is fulfilling?

When we start working toward our dreams and goals, we start to feel better about ourselves. And if we start with small goals and time commitments, we're able to get into the groove of something new and make progress.

Changing our habits, thoughts, and way of life is key to renewing our positivity and inspiration. Our dreams and goals can become reality; we just need to feel positive and inspired so we can pursue them.
