Is it "it's" or "its"?
- "It's" is a contraction for "it is" or "it has", as in "It's a spectacular day for my chickens!"
- "Its" refers to a possession of a thing and is used much like you use "his" or "her", as in "The chick cracked the eggshell with its beak."
