Is it "hope" or "hopefully"? "Hope" as a verb means "to wish", as in "We hope our roosters will continue to keep predators away."   "Hopefully" means "full of hope" or "in a hopeful manner", as in "The rooster danced around a hen and ruffled his wing hopefully."
